He might institute a custody fight. If you leave and do not allow him any contact with his child, the court will not look kindly upon that when determining custody. But that is the least of your worries. If you just take off (for good) with the child without telling him anything, he can have you arrested for kidnapping. If you simply want to move out though and still let him visit the child, there's nothing preventing that. You just need to make sure the communication between the two of you is always very clear. The above is a good post, but wanted to add that if your boyfriend is abusive to you; into drugs; belongs to a gang; is never there or has deserted you on many occasions (or refuses to work) you can seek Legal Aid and go for total custody of your child. However, if your boyfriend has been a fairly good father and the two of you simply don't get along then the advice the above poster gave you is totally correct.
He should file an injunction ordering the return of the child.
Only two states have legislated a specific age to leave a child home alone, Illinois and Maryland. Generally speaking, the child must be safe, must feel safe, and know how to take care of themselves in an emergency.
I live in Canada. I am an American citizen. I have a child and one on the way. My husband is abusive physically to my son. How do I leave him and come home to the U.S?============================================================================Seek legal advice here in Canada immediately.Do not attempt to scoop the child and flee for the border. You could be charged with a serious criminal offence if you do so.You would not be allowed to take the child across the border in any event without your husband's written consent.
you cant. but you can leave the baby home alone and childservices will come and take it away .... but then you wont be able to adopt a child.
They are going to Two-bits house to get his car so they take can the girls home. But when the Socs drive by they are at the vacant lot.
if you really love him , dont .. jus wait till he's ready . it may take a lil while but it'll happen eventually (:

You need to be more specific and include some details. It depends on the details. If the items were given to the child then the mother's boyfriend has absolutely no right to take them. If they are things left behind by the father and the mother allows her boyfriend to take them then the child may have no say in the matter. You can add more details on the discussion page.Perhaps the child should ask a grandparent to help. You need to be more specific and include some details. It depends on the details. Leave without a babysitter would be wrong but not if you have to leave to work or take care of a sick relative etc and leave the child with someone trustworthy.
I think that you should be able to leave your parents home because it seems to me that your old enough to have sexual entercouses with the opposite sex. You and your boyfriend should be able to move out on your own and take good care to the child.
ARE YOU TO TAKE CARE OF HIS CHILD? IS HE PAYING SUPPORT? ARE YOU SURE AFTER YOU HAVE HIS CHILD - WILL HE STAY AND NOT LOOK FOR ANOTHER GIRL TO HAVE A CHILD?
What you label it is not important. What is important is to understand that if you're not happy with your boyfriend, you need to get yourself (and your child) out of the relationship. You should also understand that what they're telling you is nonsense...men fall in love with, and marry, women with children every day. Good luck. No That is not emotional abuse because it can only occur with a child and a care giver. Your example is just someone being mean. You can choose to leave. There are plenty of people out their that will love that child more.
You should take the child to the ER.
yes definately i can
