Italy borders in the east over land only to Slovenia.

For most of the east of Italy, it borders the Adriatic Sea. The countries at the other side of that sea are (from north to south) Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montengro, Albania and Greece. So, this are no boundaries over land but over sea only.
