It looks like a coffee can shrunken to slightly less than the size of an apricot and painted black. It is located on the intake manifold, possibly near the throttle body.
Edit:
I found a picture, but it's from the bottom so that may not be of much help.

this model does not have a heater control valve, it has a specail thermostat that controls flow.
I have a leak on my drive shaft left front 2000 cheve Blazer I would like to replace the whole unit
If it's like my 93 S10 Blazer, then you use a wrench or 3/8 ratchet fitting to release the tensioner.
I would like to know if my 2002 chevy blazer with a stock 4.3 vortec pull 2000 lbs ?
if your 2000 blazer is like my '99 (2 dr) there is no separate rear window washer tank; its at rt frt corner of engine bay.

The PCV is on top of the drivers side valve cover, about 1 inch rubber hose shaped like a big L.Should be only thing leading into drivers side valve cover. On the 2000 Blazer there is a diagram near the hood latch showing the location of the PCV. Look for a hose running from the throttle body to the engine block on the right hand side (looking from the front). It's higher on the block than the spark plugs on the right.
The PCV valve may be stuck open which will allow too much air into the intake. try replacing the PCV valve its only about $5. it is located on the top of the drivers side valve cover and is conected to the air intake by a hose.
I was looking on fordparts.com at the 2004 Ford Ranger with the 3.0 liter V6 engine and it doesn't list an EGR valve for the 3.0 liter like it does for the 4.0 or 2.3 liter
Like an electric motor--usually located at the lower rear end of the engine--follow the + battery cable
The rear window lock on the 2000 Blazer might have gotten rusty and will not turn to unlock the window. Try spraying a lubricant like WD-40 into the door lock. Wait a few minutes and then try the key in the lock.
on my 2000 town car it was the idle air control valve sounds like you have the same problem
