Malcom X was a violent protester during the Civil Rights Movement until his journey to Mecca where he decided to become a non-violent protester. While he was a violent protester he was part of the Black Panther Party.
Hope this helped. :)
malcom x started riots by telling other african americans he promote violence which there looked up to him and saw the truth.
He played a very important part in history as he help with the racial equality of America even today. He set up the Black power and the Black Panther movements. He was a very good speaker similar to Martin Luther King.
One of the objectives of the Civil Rights Movement was to shed light on and address unfair discriminatory practices. Malcolm X (if nothing else) shed light on many deplorable conditions faced by people of African descent. When Malcolm X was featured in a week-long television special with Mike Wallace in 1959 he most certainly shed light on unfair discriminatory practices. While it is not possible to accurately measure his impact, it is fair to say that he impacted the Civil Rights movement by helping to expose discriminatory practices which ultimately led to significant changes in what the legal system declared unlawful.
For example, a number of laws were put into place that had a significant impact on the lives and civil rights of Black people. For instance, from 1959-1965, sixteen states passed fair housing laws that prohibited racial, religious, and national origin discrimination in various sectors of the private housing market. In 1954 the US Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education declared segregation in public schools unconstitutional, nullifying the earlier judicial doctrine of "separate but equal." In 1965, President Johnson signed the US Voting Rights Act of 1965. This act prohibited literacy tests and poll taxes which had been used to prevent blacks from voting.

To show that violence is the key to end racism
If you read "the civil rights movement" by peter b levy its says he had around 2million
No, certainly not. The consequences' of the Civil Rights Movement would have been different if they had been lead by King instead of Malcolm. The reason behind this is that both of them belonged to different cultures and religion. They both opened their eyes in two different environments that had a huge impact upon the establishment of their personalities. King was raised in an environment which was well-organized and cared for education whereas Malcolm was provided with a family that was unprivileged and went through several hardships. Malcolm believed that there was no equality and that blacks had to retaliate against the white's in order to gain rights. Whereas, King believed that all races are equal and that love was the only cure. The Civil Rights Movement would have been far more peaceful if it had been lead by King. Malcolm was a man who had deadly plans and was sure to use force against whites in any case. The difference would certainly have brought about a change in the American History as well as a huge impact upon the Civil Rights Movement. -Regards, Hope it helps.
It frightened some whites.

Martin Luther King or Malcolm X .
because he was malcom X he could do anything :)
Malcolm x
yo big old head
families divided.
He DID have many positive effects on civil rights, but some eventually thought he promoted violence as the answer to these problems. He mostly is remembered good, but some today think he was a violent and angry, even racist to whites.
Malcolm X, whose real name was Malcolm Little, was a human rights activist best known for his active participation in the Civil Rights Movement. He is considered one of the most influential African Americans in history.
They eventually realized that minorites on levels that may occur as being adolesence had the ability to be civil on the rights of African American movement.
Malcolm X is likely the civil rights era advocate you are referring to. He was profiled in the book "The Autobiography of Malcolm X" written by Alex Haley. Malcom X was a prominent figure in the civil rights movement advocating for the rights of African Americans through his work with the Nation of Islam.
