The Sun is necessary for all Life on Earth. However, too much Sun can cause everything from a mild burn to Cancer. Therefore, Mother Nature has taken care of the need for Sun, but not too Much, in the form of a protective skin pigment called Malanin.

This is a pigment that is found in the outer layer of Everything on Earth. The nearer the organism lives to the poles, the less Melanin it needs. Therefore, the skin and hair (fur) is light, in order to let in the most Sunshine possible, and the hair is straight in order to allow the Sunshine access to the scalp. As one moves away from the poles, however, the more Melanin is produced in order to keep the amount of Sunshine received in the healthful zone. When one gets to the Equator, the maximum amount of Melanin is required, resulting in dark (sometimes appearing Black although All humans are in the Brown pigment range) skin and Very dark, tightly curled hair. Asians, do Not have "yellow" skin. Their skin tone is a variation of brown that has been adapted for the specific combinations of Light and Snow on that continent. (Bright Sunlight, but little Heat).

In a few million years, all the people of Europe will be the same color again, as will all the people of Africa and Asia. Or, possibly, we will evolve some Other color good for Everyone, since we move around so much nowadays. So will our dogs, cats and flowers.

Why our hands are blacks?

The skin on our hands is naturally a darker color due to the presence of more melanin, a pigment that helps protect the skin from UV radiation. Additionally, activities like handling dirt, ink, or other substances can temporarily stain the skin, making it appear darker. Regular washing and exfoliation can help remove these stains.

Why the palms of the Africans are whiter than their body?

The difference in skin color between the palms and the rest of the body in some individuals, including Africans, is due to a lower concentration of melanin in the palms compared to the rest of the skin. Melanin is the pigment responsible for skin color, and variations in its distribution across the body can result in differences in color.

How do the terms race and culture differ?

The term "race" is a socially constructed word to differentiate between human beings based upon the color of their skin. Unfortunately, "race" is also used to informally make definitive but unsubstantiated differences between people based solely on the color of their skin, when, in fact, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that there are any genetic differences between races -- again, in fact, there are far more differences within a "racial" group than between "racial" groups. Thus, you would find far more similarities between whites and African Americans than you would find similiarities between whites themselves or African Americans themselves... Which brings us to culture: Culture refers to the socialization, behaviors, morays and ethics within a group of people, amongst other things. Culture refers to the way a group of people, whether a small tribe or a large country -- understands their world and interacts within that world. Culture does not define their members by the term "race", although "racism" may be a part of the culture of any specific group. Independent of any specific "culture", there may be cultural differences between specific groups -- which may adhere to their own cultural differences based upon their countries of origin, but not by skin color (or race).

Why are some men black?

One word, Melanin. It dictates skin color. The darker a person is, the more melanin they have. It's a way to protect against the sun. That's why we have "races." For all the trouble skin color has caused, it really is just that simple.
