I believe it is a draining bolt, and easier way to drain or flush the coolant from the cooling system.
it is in the heater hose close to the firewall near the master cylinder its a black plastic valve with a vacum hose connected to it
The silver housing is mounted in the engine compartment, and the black housing is mounted under the glove box in the passenger area.
This is sort of a difficult job. The black housing under the hood (on the passanger side) has to be removed. The heater core is mounted inside that housing.
There are actually two thermostats. They are in and under the large black plastic housing bolted to the driver side end of the cylinder head. There are actually two thermostats. They are in and under the large black plastic housing bolted to the driver side end of the cylinder head.
it is on the passenger side right next to the windshield under the hood it is black and has a purple and black wire connected to it
Sounds like it is a 220-240 Volt hot water heater. The black and red are connected to the 220 volts supply and the white is connected to Neutral. At the breaker panel red and black connect to the 2-pole 220 volt breaker and white goes to the neutral bus bar.
I recently installed a new heater core in a 1991 G10 van. I removed the heater fan housing, the heater core hoses, then the compartment came out. After removing the campartment has to be taken apart to replace the core. Alot of work but not all that hard.
remove 2 control wires(1 is under the glove box and the other is in the middle under dash). drain coolant enough to empty the heater cores. remove the heater hoses where the go into the firewall. on the firewall engine side remove 4 nuts, 1 behind the battery tray,1 above where the heater hose goes in,1 below that and 1 behind the valve cover. now disconect the wire going to the black plastic housing (inside passenger side). wiggle the housing and it should come out. the heater core is inside this housing all that is left is to remove a couple of bolts on the housing to access the inside where the core is located.assemble in reverse order
Black Country Housing Group's population is 230.
Black Country Housing Group was created in 1990.
No the part the cap is on is part of the under radiator hose. The thermostat housing is the large black plastic part on the driver side end of the cylinder head.
standing in front of engine the air filter is locared on the right side of engine connected to the end of wide black tube connected to the engine. u have to unscrew the top case of the air filter housing box
