yes just make sure if your truck started as OBD II that you get a 2.3 from the same. so if you truck is 95 and older make sure your new motor comes from the same, if your truck is a 96 and newer make sure your new motor is the same.

According to a ford ranger forum, if it's a 5 speed manual there isn't one! Haha I thought I was going crazy that I couldn't find it! Or I've also heard in other cars there is a stick inside the cabin of the car. But ford rangers that are 5spd manuals don't have em!
