Just go to the Champion Spark Plug site and you can find the gap info there. Just find the correct plugs for your vehicle and in the info there they put the gap. Hope that helps.

On the 4.2 inline 6, the 4th cylinder from the front of the engine is number 4. The engine is a coil on plug, the spark plug is located under the coil in the center of the valve cover.
The spark plug gap for a 1949 Dodge 230 Inline 6 cylinder engine should be set at .025 inches. New spark plugs do not need adjusting as they are preset at the factory.

Number 1 will always be the front cylinder on an inline engine.
