There are plenty of cat foods out there, but health wise you can check alot off your shopping list. I can't tell you what brand you should buy, but I can tell you what not to.
Always check the ingredient list for Corn, Wheat, or Soy (Corn Meal included). These three ingredients can lead to kidney problems and, in the end, kidney failure, which is fatal.
Also look out for anything with Meat Byproduct in the name. It may just make you sick, Byproduct is made by grinding up the complete animal (Bones, skin, feathers, intestines and all) and mashing it all together. It can also contain road-kill, deceased zoo animals, and 4-D (dead, disabled, diseased, dying) livestock. It can also (Now to the worst part) contain euthinized cats and dogs. Yep. Other then the complete Horror of your pet being (unknowingly) cannibalistic these animals still have the medicine which killed them in there veins. Obviously that cannot be healthy.
I could go on and on explaining horrors (Don't get me started about how some places store pet food) , but choose wisely. Remember, cats are carnivores, and grains are not good for them. Rice is ok, so don't discard something just if it has rice in it. I use Life's Abundance for my pets. I personally know the owner of the company so I can assure you it's safety. Google it, it's not that expensive, and your getting human quality food. But there are plenty of other good brands out there.
what to feed my cat and how much
a calico cat is defined by its white. if it has no white, it is not a calico but a tortiseshell.
a calico cat.
A calico cat is a cat that is white, orange, and black. "Calico" is the term that describes a cat with these colours; it is not a breed name. Cats with the calico colouring can be many different breeds.
No, there is no such thing as a miniature calico cat. Calico cats are not actually a breed, calico describes their color.
No, they are not always inbreed they are like every other living cat. --- Calico cats are simply the result of a ginger or tortoiseshell cat and a black or tortoiseshell cat. The only similarities is that both cats must have some white.
Yeah it's cruel, especially if the cat was always outside before this. Get him neutered if you're afraid he will run away
The average age for an indoor cat is 15 years, while the average age for an outdoor cat is only 3 to 5 years.
The Webkinz Signature Calico Cat is coming out in August 2009.
It depends on how much you feed it. But yes some cats do weigh ten pounds.
