Cardiovascular sports involve exercising your heart to help have a longer and healthier life. Some of these sports that practice cardiovascular endurance is swimming, running, or even having a jog around the nearest park. These exercises help the heart become fixed and used to training, and will build up endurance. You can Google the question, there will be more information. Hope this helps!
There are a lot of different cardiovascular exercises to choose from, it all depends on what you have fun doing and what you are interested in. My personal favorite cardio exercise is long distance running, I run anywhere between 5-10 miles at least 5 days a week and I love it.
However, running isn't for everyone and even if it is, its great to mix up your different cardiovascular exercises. Examples of great cardiovascular exercises include:
Running/Jogging
Kickboxing
Swimming
Cycling
Dancing
Playing intense sports for a prolonged time
Aerobics
Elliptical
Basically the point of cardiovascular exercise (for most people) is because they want to burn fat, gain endurance or both. To burn fat, you need to reach a moderate target heart rate so that fat is burned off as energy as opposed to sugar. Examples of this would be long distance rungs, swimming, cycling, aerobics or the elliptical. Kickboxing would probably be more of a sugar burning cardiovascular exercise (which is still very beneficial) because it has quick spurts of energy where with long distance running, swimming, cycling, aerobics or the elliptical, if you are on it for a long time you will stabilize your heart rate to a fat burning zone.
As I said before, it is great to mix it up, I have a hard time doing that (as I said, I enjoy running a lot) because I am not a strong swimmer and find other exercises more boring however, I try to do this
Monday I will go for a medium run, maybe 3-4 miles
Tuesday I might take a kick boxing class
Wednesday I might go for another medium run, maybe 4-5 miles
Thursday I would take a break
Friday I would run maybe 7-9 miles
Saturday I might go play tennis with a friend and then maybe do some light kickboxing
Sunday I might run 5-8 miles
I hope this helps, just do what is best for you, it is always good to get your heart pumping you will feel so much better after the workout!!
The best exercises for Cardiovascular Fitness would be running, cross-country skiing, bicycling and swimming. These are the exercises that I strongly recommend, as most of them don't need special equipment to be taken advantage of.
The top sport for cardiovascular health is Cross Country Skiing but swimming is a close second.also Track and Field
mere walking and swimming is good.
Traditional Kung fu
I would say basketball, mainly because you have no time to rest unlike other sports. That's why cardio fitness is so important for NBA players
