First of all, I would like to get across that I am not a racist.

The relationship between the Mexicans and the Texans (America was also involved) was not good at all. Mexicans hated Texans and vice versa. The main dispute though was not racism, but over land. Mexico and America both claimed Texas as their own state. Oviously America won. I myself believe this may be how we grew such a hating bond between mainly white Americans and Mexicans. Now this is another issue, but ever since that war, the American, Mexican border has been guarded. On the Northern side, Canada's border with the US is the largest border unprotected! Now you can see the relationship between the two.
