I believe I have an answer for this, or somewhat of and answer.
I have a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron, and I have had it stall on me while it is running, or when stopped at a stop sign, then it not be able to start back up for a while, or sometimes it will start right up.
I googled it one day, and what I stumbled across was that it supposedly is the fuel pump. The 1994 and 1995 LeBaron has a faulty issue with the fuel pump that causes the engine to stall, and a few of the warning lights to come on.
I have had this happen to me about 4 or 5 times, and all in convienient locations. I found this question googling for more information on the topic. If I could site the page I read that at, I would. But if you Google it, I am sure you will come across the same info I have. OR, try calling your Chrysler dealership. I have yet to do so, being as how ours just closed in town.
There could be a few things on a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron causing the distributor not to have power. But first I would check the spark plugs and see if maybe they have gone bad.
The wiper motor on a 1992 Chrysler LeBaron won't work if the motor has seized up or the fuse has blown. The switch inside the cabin or the wiring can also come loose and cause this problem.
it seizes thru lack of use... overhall it..
Yes, along with switch, wiring, relay, motor,
Most likely cause is a failed engine thermostat.
One of the gauges is outside the safe range. Check oil pressure, coolant temp, and battery voltage.
no but they may have broke a wire or disconnected a wire and not hooked it back up
Anything and everything, really. What you need to do first is check for fault codes stored in the computer. Chrysler conveniently made them easy to get at. See http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/fault/index.html for a description of how to get them, and what they mean.
Check your distributor cap, make sure your not getting moisture in it...lebaron and Chrysler 3.0 have a common problem with the screws on the dist. cap to be corroded and break off. quite possible this problem is as simple as replacing your dist cap.
Make sure all of the wires on the coil are tight and if they are take it to a speedo shop for tach repair.
What would cause the engine not to restart when hot Chevy Trailblazer 2007?
the rotatror ^^^ HUH? A few things to check- brake caliper, spindle nut, parking brake, upper shock mount.
Yes, it could be the pipe that runs between the heads.
I mean this seriously: Where you can get a good used replacement. There is nothing external that can be the cause, it has had a serious internal failure and either needs overhaul or replacement
replace iignition coil
over heated will cause it to start after 30 minutes
You will need to disassemble the rear brakes to find the cause. You may be able to loosen the brake shoe adjustment from the back side of the drums.
if it was cold then ur engine wasnt warmed up that is one reason. or it was to hot out and ur radiator isn't working properly and it overheate. did it start after a while??
Fuse, flasher, switch, bulbs, wires, ignition not on, dead battery,Fuse, flasher, switch, bulbs, wires, ignition not on, dead battery,
No It may cause engine idle and hesitation problems but not smoking. If you are not experiencing oil consumption problems check the head gasket. Lastly a turbo unit that is Twenty-Three years old may also be due for replacement/rebuild. J
yes once the ignition control module heats up it would cause the vehicle to stall. usually after it cools down the vehicle will restart again.
doubt that a t-stat would cause a car to shut down and restart when cold check for an ignition module proublem
While driving my car died. The check engine, brake and battery light all came on. It did restart after about 10 minutes and died again 10 minutes later after idling for about 5 minutes. What would cause this? You have to take your car to a shop that can read the obdII fault codes. And then take it from there ...
well usually it is an ignition module but cant be 100 % because you didnt say what kind of vehicle you have
