The book says that she is young it does not say which age but I think she is a young teenager.
Answer:The book implies that she was young but does not say so.Dr John MacArthur in the "MacArthur Study Bible" says Ahasuerus [ie Xerxes] ruled from 486 to 465BC when he was assassinated, and Esther covers the 483-473BC portion of his rule. The Bible doesn't say how old Esther was when she married him, but if she was 17 this would make her born in 500BC. Other sources say that the the woman "Esther" in the bible, married King Ahasuerus [ or 'Xerxes' in Greek] who ruled from 486BC to 476BC, and Queen Esther covered the 483-473BC portion of his reign before he was assassinated in 465BC. It is unknown how old she was when she married him, but assuming she was 20-25 this would make her birthdate between 508-503BC , but if you said 505BC you wouldn't be far out and nobody can prove you wrong.
Anyway Esther was born a long time ago.
It is most unlikely that there ever was a Queen Esther, as nearly all biblical scholars say the Book of Esther is obviously not historical. Because of this, the year of her birth can not be obtained from any source independent of the Bible, but the Book of Esther does not tell us about Esther's birth.
Esther was a historical personality exactly like every other person mentioned in the Tanakh (Torah and Prophets). Her grave stands to this very day in Hamadan (in Iran). The fact that millions of Jews, and the Talmud and Halakha proclaim her to have lived when she did, should make us aware that she existed.
To answer the question, she was born around 2400 years ago.
Here's a quote from a researcher named Norman Geisler: "In every period of Old Testament history, we find that there is good evidence from Archaeology that the Scriptures speak the truth. In many instances, the Scriptures even reflect firsthand knowledge of the times and customs it describes. While many have doubted the accuracy of the Bible, time and continued research have consistently demonstrated that the Word of God is better informed than its critics.
"In fact, while thousands of finds from the ancient world support in broad outline and often in detail the biblical picture, not one incontrovertible find has ever contradicted the Bible."See:
A:The Book of Esther does not tell us how old Esther was when she became queen to King Ahasuerus (Xerxes), so it is not possible to say just when she was born. Historians say there never was a Queen Esther (or a Queen Vashti) of Persia, and biblical scholars say that the Book of Esther was actually a novel, written in the second century BCE, so we will never have a date of birth for Esther.
According to the Book of Esther, three people came to Queen Esther's banquet: King Ahasueros, Queen Esther, and Haman.
Queen Esther Marrow was born on 1941-02-12.
A:The Book of Esther places Esther during the reign of Xerxes, who was king of Persia from 486 to 465 BCE. The book says that the first wife of Xerxes, Queen Vashti, was banished in the third year of his reign and that Esther was selected as queen soon afterwards. The Book of Esther does not say whether Esther was queen fortheremainder of Xerxes' reign but, if so, she would have been queen for some 18 years. Scholars say there are good reasons to believe that the story is fictional and that there never was a Queen Esther of Persia. There is no historical record of either Vashti or Esther, and Queen Amestris is accepted by historians as Xerxes' only wife for the first several years of his reign. From a historical perspective, Esther was never really a queen.
Queen Esther. Her story can be found in the book of Esther right after the book of Nehemiah.
According to Jewish tradition, Queen Esther is believed to have died on 14th of Adar, the same day she fasted to save her people from Haman's plot. However, there is no concrete historical evidence to confirm the exact date or circumstances of her death.
Esther replaced Queen Vashti as queen after Queen Vashti refused to come to the King's banquet.
I can remember Queen Esther and Vast hi.
A:The Book of Esther tells us that Esther married King Xerxes (Ahasuerus) of Persia and became queen. The Book of Esther is not regarded by scholars as factual, and the marriage of Esther and Xerxes is not historical. King Xerxes was married to Queen Amestris at the very time that the book says he divorced Vashti and married Esther, and remained married to Amestris for at least the next several years.
Haman was the villain in the book of Esther. His plot was to eliminate all the Jews in the Persian kingdom of Achashverosh. His scheme was foiled by Queen Esther.
Queen Esther. You may read about it in the book of Esther in the Bible. The saying you refer to is in Esther 4.16
A:The Book of Esther is not a religious book and does not even mention God. Biblical scholars regard it as a second-century-BCE Jewish novel, and historians say there never was either a Queen Vashti or a Queen Esther of Persia. We can therefore say that the book does not suggest that Esther relied on God for any assistance, and nor did she obtain divine assistance in history. Esther was able to overcome difficulties through her own talents, expressed in the book.
