It's probably ignition timing or low octane fuel. It COULD be something far more serious though, such as rod bearings.
No
You'll most likely hear a knocking sound or squeaking of some kind
bums
When you accelerate. you are putting presure on the main engine barrens. if they are going bad. You will hear this knocking sound. I don't know how many miles you have on this engine. But that's what it sounds like. But that's not all that can make this sound. You will have to tell more about it and when it started. Did it just start all at once? or did it start and then get louder?
you may have trown a rod.
Because it just does. That's why.
distributor. If you hear any knocking or ticking, that's another clue.
CHECK YOUR OIL LEVEL
I Hear You Knocking was created in 1970-11.
Depending on the engine. You may see a crack or hole in the block. Plus you will hear a knocking sound coming from the engine, If you catch it soon enough there will be very little damage. But most of the time it happens at speed and destroys the engine.
that knocking sound could be the connecting rod knocking because of the bearing being warn out do to low oil pressure or no oil all together. also it could just be the valves. some people hear the valves ticking and think its knocking. i have had many friends think that. valves ticking is a simple fix. just look up how the valves are suppose to be adjusted then take off the valve covers and with a feeler gauge measure how big the gap is.
when we accelerate vehicle the supply of fuel gets increased .. Then inside the combustion chamber all the charge can't burn in such case so phenomena of knocking takes place.. So the sound can be heared.
