There are no descendants of the Aztecs today. The Aztecs were ruthlessly hunted down and exterminated by the people whom they had formerly subjugated. After years of having to give up their family members as human sacrifices, these people exacted revenge upon any Aztecs they could find.

Very few escaped from the siege of Tenochtitlan and those that did were quickly hunted down and killed.

The irony is that many Mexicans claim to be descended from the Aztecs, when in fact they are descendants of the people who exterminated them.

Descendants of the Aztecs are primarily found in Mexico, especially in regions that were historically part of the Aztec Empire, such as Mexico City and central Mexico. Many Mexicans today have Aztec ancestry, as well as a mix of other indigenous and European heritage.

The descendants of the Mexica (now known as Aztec) are still alive and well and living all over the Western Hemisphere. They tried to bury us , they didnt know we were seeds. Although 95% of the Indigenous population was exterminated by the hands of the spanish, which was not only by small pox, it was a genocide, the biggest genocide inflicted to a people and it is seldom discussed and not taught in the school system.

The Aztecs civilization did not start in Tenochtitlan, Mexico it was in what is now the southwest, (Utah area) the Aztec came from caves known as Chicimoztoc, some tribes migrated south, and branching out forming tribes known today as the Navajo, Hopi, Shosone, Cahuilla, Luisaño, Tongva, Mexica, Chichimeca, Toltec,

We are still Here, and are fast becoming the majority of the land. Our land, the land that was stolen, through violence, oppression, genocide.
