On the sides of engine block.
There are 3 plugs on each side of the engine.
in the engine block
It can be hard to locate all of the little parts of a vehicle. The freeze plugs of a 1995 Chevy are located within the rear of the motor to the car.Ê
First off the Spirit was only made upto the year 1995, and so was the 2.5L. But the freeze plugs are located in front of the engine... they are easy to see, just a round demple basically, in the engine block.
There is not one freeze plug. There many freeze plugs, ususally there are three on each side of the engine block, one in the rear inside the bellhousing, and there is usually one at each end of both cylinder heads. There may be more depending on the engine.
the spark plugs are located on the front of the engine under the hood
I don't know how to do it myself, but have a look on www.autozone.com They have detailed breakdowns for doing almost anything to any car. I just had my freeze plugs replaced on a 1995 180i Corolla (7A-FE engine). Two of them were slowly leaking. It's quite a big job on this engine, as the whole fuel rail and intake manifold has to be removed to get at them.
the spark plugs on a '95 jimmy are located towards the bottom of the engine, u can see them if u look between your tire and the tire well
Fuel pump or freeze plugs.
On either side of the engine in between the exhaust manifold you wll find your boots.
The spark plugs / engine cylinders are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear on the passenger side of the engine and 4 , 5 , 6 from front to rear on the drivers side of the engine
After you take the cover off the engine there are three square electrical looking things and when you unscrew all those and take them out the spark plugs lie beneth there.
