The oil pressure sending unit is located on the engine block, under the Power Steering pump. It is only accessible after the steering pump has been removed.
It's located under the power steering pump. In order to get to it you have to take the power steering pump off.
On most ford vehicles and most vehicles in general the pil pressure sending unit is located near the oil filter. Find your oil filter and feel around it particularly above it. This would probably be the only place where you would find the sender because it is the best place to put it. Just look above the oil filter and try to find a fitting with some wires protruding from it, you have found your oil pressure sender. I hope I helped

The oil pressure sending unit on a 302 ford is located on the block of the engine. It screws into the block and the sending unit goes on the end. The oil pressure sending unit on a 302 Ford is slightly above and to the left of the oil filter. I find it is easier to replace with the oil filter out.
Check for a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose

The firing order of a 1970 Lincoln Continental is 1, 5, 4, 2, 6, 3, 7, 8. You can find a diagram of the leads in a service manual, available through dealerships as well as at many public libraries.
there is an important Lincoln repair manual you can find at any auto parts store , I just had one for 16 bucks and it helps a lot.
You can hope so. If you install a new sending unit, you will find out if it is something worse. Loss of oil pressure can indicate low oil level, damaged oil pump, a broken sending unit wire, a defective gage or a worn-out engine.
drop the tranny pan and boom should be 3 in a row right there
The plug is on the bottom of the oil pan in front of the transmission pan
The oil pressure sending unit on a 1989 GMC Sierra is located slightly above the oil filter. You will need a flashlight to find it. It may be hard to recognize it because it should have a heat shield around it as well. Look for its wire coming down from the engine compartment and follow it to the oil pressure sending unit. Drain your engine oil and remove the oil filter to make changing the oil pressure sending unit easier.
If your oil pressure is remaining that high, I suggest having it checked with a manual pressure guage to see if the reading is accurate. It sounds to me as if you might have a bad oil sending unit. After checking it manually you may be pleasantly surprised to find that a new oil pressure sending unit will solve your problem. good luck.
