the hazard light fuse, should be in the top left corner of the fuse panel, its an odd shape fuse, it has L shape connectors and its round, sorry I'm not that techincal but i had this truck and i remember my hazards stopped working.
you probably have a bad fuse. I would check that first if i were you.
Change out the switch. Bad switch!!
Doesn't have hazard lights.
It is the fuse for the hazard lights or as they are sometimes called, emergency lights.
get the whole care re wired also dont turn on your hazard lights!!!
If you will notice the hazard lights are not actually flashing, reason being, the hazard flasher relay is defective. Replace it.
if you mean: "why do hazard lights flash when brakes are on", then the answer is because vehicles are equipped with a hazard light relay that supercedes the brake lights. This way, slow moving vehicles can operate under hazard lighting.
I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado that I want to turn the driving lights off. How do I do that? Thank you
the location of the hazard lights is on top of the steering colum.
There are a variety of reasons the hazards lights may not work. The flasher module could need replacing. The fuse may be blown. The bulb may be blown. There could even be an electrical malfunction.
the indicator unit is stuffed
