Our industrial revolution generally took root in the latter 1800's near large cities, often ones with ports. Places like Chicago had enormous rail access which made it easier for large companies to expand further through vertical/horizontal integration. Urban population grew to unseen levels as a result of rural/foreign migration as well.

If you're looking for specific city names, they're usually cities that are either near ports, major rail hubs, or large Natural Resources. Chicago, pittsburg, Boston, New York, etc.

Industrial revolution was first created to raise the people's standard of living. Before revolution, majority of Americans lived on farmland, villages, or small towns where there was little manufacturing.

What is the effect of the change in the radius of revolution to the period of revolution?

period of revolution = T T = 2. pi. r / w ...............where r is radius and w is angular velocity as v = w.r..................................(v is linear velocity). w = v/r T = 2.pi.r / (v/r) T = 2.pi.r^2/v r^2 = T.v / 2.pi so r is proportional to square root of T so if r is increased by 'n' times, T increases by sqrt(n) times.

Did soldiers during the Industrial Revolution AKA age of line fighting and grenadiers use the salute that is used today AKA putting your hand up to your head as a sign of respect to your commander?

The "salute", the "wave" the "handshake" all have their root in the same thing: When a warrior raised his (usually) right hand aloft, it was away from his weapon. It was a visual way of saying: "I mean you no harm". In other words, "I'm a friend". It quickly became a greeting between friends ("Hi!") and remains so today. The military salute is a stylized version of this - and there are many different types of salute.
