from the vacuum source in the intake manifold,to various vacuum operated components
Most all of the vacuum lines will start from the intake manifold in the rear..........
The intake manifold on a 1990 Acura Integra connects to the head of the engine. Loosen all of the nuts from the manifold to the head, disconnect the throttle body, vacuum lines, fuel injectors and coolant lines then pull the manifold from the head.
There are about 20 vacuum lines. Do you mean a main intake manifold line?
Which vacc. line and what size engine? Vacc lines are usually plugged into a connection on the intake manifold.
Vacuum leaks in the vacuum hoses or mixed up connections on them. Test by spraying starter fluid around intake manifold and vacuum lines.
You should look for a vacuum leak, either in the vacuum lines or the intake manifold, also the TPS and maf can cause this if it is malfunctioning.
Coolant is being sucked into air intake manifold and entering cylinders. Bad intake manifold gaskets (assuming all vacuum lines are correctly routed).
it should be right off your intake manifold.
Normally the vacuum line from a brake booster goes to the intake manifold of a gasoline engine. Sometimes other lines will be tied in to feed vacuum to cruise control pots or 4x4 actuators, but the main hose will be larger.
the brake vacuum booster connects to the intake manifold all by itself and the PCV valve hose should hook directly to your carburetor.
You probably have a vacuum leak. Check intake manifold and throttle body gaskets as well as vacuum lines.
