1) Locate the transmission fill tube handle.
2) Valve is about 2" up, and 3" towards firewall, on the accumulator, under and behind a few wiring harnesses
Note: This also applies to a 2002 expedition. The connector is hard to see and hard to reach. You must hold two hoses out of your way yo reach it. It is sticking straight out of the side of the accumulator.
