Wish side the thermostat is place it inside
located in the lower radiator hose where it meets the engine block. There is a bracket with 2 screws in it covering the thermostat to hold it in place. Remove the screws and remove the thermostat
To install and remove the thermostat on a 1998 Suzuki Esteem, drain the radiator. Remove the upper hose assembly and locate the thermostat. Remove the bolt holding it in and put the new one in place before refilling the radiator.
locate the casting that contains the thermostat and separate it's cover. the old unit should be observed while it is in place in order that it's replacement is installed right side up. any old gasket material that may be stuck on the castings needs to be removed and the seal surfaces trued. follow the upper radiator hose to the engine and you will locate the casting that the thermostat is housed in.
Loosen the mounting bolts, there should be four of them then place a jack under the bumper and jack the bumper up until straight or even then tighten the bolts.
According to Haynes Repair Manual #61042 for the years 1993 thur 2001 fot the Mazda 626 & MX-6 Ford Probe the engine thermostat is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment under the air breather. It is necessary to disconnect the ram-air hose & remove the air-filter compartment to reach the thermostat. The thermostat is held in place by two bolts & an "O" ring gasket. I had to replace mine & is took a "little while" to remove everything to get to the thermostat, replace the thermostat & then replace everything back in place as it was before.
Remove the top radiator hose. Remove the water inlet on top of the motor. The thermostat is under the inlet. Replace the thermostat taking care not to place the new on in upside down. Clean off old gasket material from the inlet, install a new gasket and reinstall the inlet and hose.

Fuel Pressure Regulator on 94 Ford Ranger/Mazda B2300 is on the front side of the fuel injector rail. It is round with a vacuum hose coming out its center. It is held into place with 2 bolts.
The thermostat is located underneath the front of the van on the driverside tire side of the vehicle. follow the radiator hose up to the thermostat housing. Note: the rubber o ring must be left in place if you are not planning to replace the thermostat, which, by the way costs like $35.00 and has to be ordered in advance.

The spring end of the thermostat goes into the engine. If you have the rubber ring gasket, the rubber ring has a slice on the inside of the gasket. Fit the rubber gasket around the outside of the thermostat before you set the thermostat in place. Be sure the thermostat and gasket are in place with the spring end facing the engine and install the thermostat housing, done.
