Price one out at a Chevy dealer then have them print out a copy of its location to other parts within your dash. Most resistors are accessible once you remove the glove box door. I hope this helps you. Mark
faulty blower motor resistor
There is a removeable panel below the glovebox. It is in front of the blower motor against the firewall. It has a wire connector from the loom and then it plugs into the blower motor

The blower resistor on a 1999 Chevy truck Z1500 is located behind the glove compartment. There is also a resistor on the firewall next to the blower motor itself.

In a 1988 Chevy 2500, the blower motor resistor can be found on the passenger side. It usually is behind the glove box.

If you are referring to the blower motor resistor, it is located behind the glove box and in the heater case.
