These cars don't use a crank sensor - the ignition module watches the electrical properties of the #4 cylinder spark plug and uses that to calculate where the engine is within the mechanical rotation.
If you are having troubles, verify/replace that spark plug and the wiring. In a past experience with this car, it turned out to be the ignition module, located under the coil packs.
The crank sensor is behind the starter. Remover the starter at the back of the engine and you will see the sensor
behind the crank pully
There is a video on U-Tube showing where the sensor is and how to change it. It is above the starter
No
the crank sensor is located just behind the crank shaft pully of the engine.
The crank sensor is located approximately on the top front center of the engine block, behind the crank pulley, in the area below your alternator. It is secured by a single bolt and the wire runs beneath the intake manifold.
Hey Kevin==It depends on your engine but I think it is on the fromt by the balancer. GoodluckJoe the crank sensor is on the back of the block above the starter motor It has a green 2-wire connector to it.
