If memory serves, the fuel inertia cutoff switch is located behind the lower kick panels just under the dash. Look for the panels that would be by your foot when seated in the truck. I think it's the passenger side, but don't call me on that...
Its on passenger side under carpet next to hump at firewall...

how do you reset a fuel pump switch on a 1993 ford tempo
In a 1993 Ford Ranger : Yes , all engine sizes are fuel injected
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I BELIEVE the fuel pump inertia switch on a 1993 Ford Ranger is in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe board just to the right of the transmission hump
On a 1994 Ford Ranger : Check in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe board just to the right of the transmission hump ( that's where the fuel pump shut off switch / inertia switch was on my 1993 Ford EXPLORER )
The 1992 Ford Ranger does not have a fuel pump shutoff switch. You can disable the fuel pump by removing the fuel pump fuse.
