Where is the heater core located on a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo and is it easy to replace it?

under the center of the dash board. Can't buy just the replacement heater core they only sell it in a new "improved" control box that costs $300.00 TO $400.00 NEW. We paid $45.00 to have the old one repaired, the repairman used epoxy he ordered from a radiator factory to repair it. As far as replacing it you better be ready to remove your dash board and empty your AC, (you have to remove the AC evaporation unit to replace the heater core). Took me 3 days to get it out (I work pretty slow) and a couple short days to put it all back together. Have Fun !
