Hey Matt==It is on the pass side of the engine just above the oil pan screwed into the block. You need to have a manual gauge installed long enough to see if the gauge in the car is accurate. If you still have low or no oil preasure with the manual gauge, the oil pump or other things are bad. GoodluckJoe

It will bolt up, but the manifolds, flywheel, wiring are different. Also the 1997 head does not have a hole in the rear for the temperature gauge sensor.
