Where is the oil sensor on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler and how can you tell if you need to replace it or the oil pump?

Hey Matt==It is on the pass side of the engine just above the oil pan screwed into the block. You need to have a manual gauge installed long enough to see if the gauge in the car is accurate. If you still have low or no oil preasure with the manual gauge, the oil pump or other things are bad. GoodluckJoe
