it is on the rear rigth side there is a panel remove the panel and bingo......you'll see a jack
if, it came with it.
how do you release a spare tire on a 1999 ford expediton xlt
On a 1999 Ford Expedition : It's supposed to be at the front of the engine compartment , on top of the radiator support
I bought one of those jack rods for my 1998 Ford Expedition XLT at the local dealer for under $20.00.
Follow the recommendations on the sidewall of the tire.....not the vehicle.
It's far better to follow the tire pressure recommended on the tire than on the vehicle.
It's supposed to be stored under the spare tire in the trunk
On a 1999 Ford Explorer ( using the factory jack ) Front tire ( there are " hooks " on the front of the lower control arms ) Rear tire ( under the axle tube , below the leaf spring )
You can view the 1999 Ford Expedition owners manual online at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) Click on Owner Guides The manual includes the instructions and pictures
