Never heard of a top speed sensor. Vehicles are usually governed by the computer. The only way to remove the governor is to have the computer reprogrammed.
The intake rear...next to Alternator...This is what I have found out.
Usually on most Vehicles the Crankshaft Sensor is located Behind the Lower Pulley which is known as the Harmonic Balancer.
The speed sensor on the 1990 to 1993 Accords is on top of the transmission differential. Look directly below the throttle body and you will see a large grey box with wires coming out of it. That box sits on top of the transmission differential. That is the speed sensor. There are three 10mm bolts holding it down.
same problem with my 91 lumina. change your crank sensor (only 18.00) # its hard to start! # its a pain to drive # and mine only went for about 5 miles!!!
the speed sensor is on top of the transmission by the rear firewall. it is under the fuel injector and under a couple of hoses but you can see it it only has two bolts holding it on
The VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) moniters the speed of the vehicle.
There is no such thing!!
on the transmission tailshaft housing
in the ecu
I have a 91 s10 and it has a speed sensor. It is located at the rear of the tranny on the drivers side
Consider this - I have a 91' Chevy lumina with 256k miles on it, and aside from an oil leak, it still runs like a top
Bad coils or perhaps a bad crankshaft position sensor.
