Check the "Online Shop Manual" under the "Technical" section at www.mx-3.com. If it's the V-6, I can answer though, "Under a lot of stuff that you probably won't want to mess with"... you have to take off a valve cover, the accessory belt cover, the drive belt cover, at least one or more pulleys, it's not an easy job, a VERY poor design choice by Mazda (not that they are the only ones guilty of this)... you can get to nearly all the bolts from under the vehicle (it's at the bottom of the block) except for one or two which are behind all the aforementioned parts.

You have to push the key & ignition switch in as you rotate it counterclockwise into the off position !!
