The U.S. cities with the largest percentage of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called "Mormons") in the population are small farming and ranching communities in northern and central Utah. These tiny towns are often nearly 100% Mormon. Suburbs of Salt Lake City and other suburb-size cities (such as St. George and Logan) are made up of about 60% practicing Mormons, while Salt Lake City itself has one of the lowest Mormon populations in Utah (percentage-wise) at about 40-50% practicing Mormons.

I dont know of anywhere that you can find the population of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) by city, but I do know that you can find the population by state or country by going to http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/statistical-information.

Or, you can find if there is a congregation in or near a specific city by going to maps.lds.org.

Maybe you are thinking of Salt Lake City, Utah. Salt Lake City is the location of the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (also called the "Mormon" Church).
