∙ 11y agoAmerica. They started by attacking Pearl Harbor. Japan made a sneak attack on the US fleet anchored at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii bombing them early on Sunday morning, December 7, 1941. After the bombing US declared war on Japan and so did England.
Japan was also at war with China since 1931 - they invaded that country and killed millions of people.
