Anne Hutchison: Secretly was preaching heresy and was kicked out of Massachusetts. At the time only men were allowed to preach. She went to Rhode Island. 1634.

Thomas Hooker: Founder of the first major settlements in Conn. 1636.

William Bradford: Founder of the Plymouth colony in Mass. 1620.

John Winthrop: Governor of Massachusetts, he had a dream of a "Puritan commonwealth". That didn't work out real well. 1630ish.

Roger Williams: Also kicked out of Mass. for heresy, he was instrumental in starting RI. 1631.

John Wheelwright: Started the first significant settlement in New Hampshire with 35 others. Brother-in-law of Anne Hutchinson. 1638
