Seems to me that if you have fire coming from the coil to the distributor and only cylinders 3 and 6 are not firing, the distributor has to be the culprit? The distributor does this job by using the energy from the coil and makes the transfer by cap and rotary button. Check for correct firing orders too? Grabbing a manual can be worth its weight in gold also, usually found at any auto parts place.
We have a 95 montero, there are multiple coils, no distributor. My guess is that it is a bad coil, but an oscilloscope could see if you were getting an impulse to the coil. I don't know how much the coil is. Most of the stuff for the Mitsubishi is VERY EXPENSIVE, we will never own one again. Good luck:)
If it's the same 3.0L engine they put in the 2001 Montero Sport, the alternator is (looking from the front of the engine into the bay) located on the left side of the motor, toward the radiator, down low. It's straight below the power steering pump. There should be a belt that runs from the crankshaft to the alternator. Good luck... I'm on my third in 3 months.
You have to remove the upper panel, third row seat, peal back the cargo area carpet and unscrew and pop it off. It take about an hour to two to remove and get to the speaker.
One can obtain Mitsubishi TV support from various sources. One can contact Mitsubishi directly either by phone or email or through a third party store where one purchased the TV, such as Best Buy.

You have to remove the interior trim of the lift gate.
You can find the starter relay switch in your 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse in the fuse box. The starter relay switch will be in the third column, at the top.
Probably a defective speed sensor in the trans.
There are many positive features of the Mitsubishi Adventure. They include 5 speed MT, side facing third row seats, power steering and child proof locks.

Swiss plugs are different from those of other countries. The sockets accept standard 2-pin Euro-plugs, but the 3-pin plugs have a third earth pin, same size as the other two, in a triangular formation. Thus earthed appliances need a plug adapter.
you have GOT to be talking about the third generation 3.0 liter v6. You have to remove the intake manifold. If you don't know what that is, it's that silver multi tube thing that is right in front of you when u pop the hood. If you don't know what u are doing, don't even attempt it. It SUCKS. take it to a garage, it will cost around 50 bucks or so, but it is way worth it. It's actually going to be 400+ dollars to do the spark plugs and wires from what I have heard.
