There were too many reasons to mention as to why America fought a war with England. You could read an American History Book for an item by item listing. A good place to start would be to look at a copy of The Constitution of the United States of America. Start reading from the beginning through the first 10 amendments, especially the prohibitions on congress. The various prohibitions on congress were not the ideas of dreamers but a rehash of the suffering under England. No congressman can go to prison because of what he says on the floor of congress. There can be no bill of attainder. No government employee can walk into your house and take whatever he wants. Read the Constitution. It was a reaction to the rule of George III.
