There is a cross connection or short circuit in the electrical system
My guess would be the signal switch is bad.
Either a short in the circuitry or a fault in the switch assembly. Given that it's only happening on the one side, I'd troubleshoot the switch first.
Look right above the steering wheel, between the wheen and the spedometor. That button turns on the Hazard lights. mkelly12@ramapo.edu
Faulty hazard switch.
Same flasher for left and right signals but a different flasher for the emergency flashers.
turn signals and 4 way flashers are on different systems and use different flashers You would want to look for the turn signal relay, try putting on your 4-way hazard flashers so you can here the clicking noise of the relay, they might be under your dash. In my car it was underneath the dash directly in line with the steering column, above the brake pedal.
The reason is because you have two flashers. One works with the hazard light circuit and the other works with the turning sigal circuit. Replace the flasher and if that does not work you should check for a steering column problem or a switch problem. Good Luck
my camaro had the same problem light was good but woulnt work it was to much grease in the socket who knew The turn signal flasher is most likely defective. The one on the fuse panel is for the hazard flashers. the turn signal flasher is to the right of the steering column on the backside of the dash.
The turn signal and emergency flashers are on a bracket together under the dash right about where the gas pedal is. The bracket can be lowered by putting a screwdriver into the clip and releasing the little catch. Remove the little cover over both flasher relays. The larger flasher is the turn signal (my 98 flasher was blue) and the smaller is the emergency flasher. I found mine by turning on the flashers and just following the clicking sound. Replace flasher relay that is attached to right side of steering column. Switch it out with hazard relay to see if that is your issue. F
it is under the dash driver side there is a fuse block i believe it on the top right corner it is roung like you probably think it is a small square black block pull it and replace
Some cars have two flashers, one for the signals and the other for the emergency flashers. Be sure you replaced the right one. Also check the fuse the bulbs and lastly the signal switch.
je ne says pas
You could have a faulty bulb. Check for contact in both bulbs if they are new.
