It sounds like your dizzy cap isn't lined right which causes the engine to stay running after the ignition has been switched off. i had the same problem with my fiesta
A 306 HDI may continue to run after you switch off the engine if the ignition timing is set improperly. This will force the engine to continue running for several seconds.
The ignition switch has to be on for the ABS to operate.
If the engine stops running when the key is released, then the ignition switch is probably bad. The switch will need to be replaced.
Faulty ignition switch.
The function of a stop switch is to cut the ignition so the engine can stop. If the switch is in the off position and the engine isn't running, then to start the bike you'll have to put it to the on position.
Most likely is a bad ignition switch.
Electric? 1) Check fuses 2) Ignition switch on or vehicle running? 3) Try holding switch down (with engine running) and slam door
failed relay
Probably a stuck solenoid.
Not a switch, but you could have a problem with the Sentry Key System. The key has a chip in it that communicates with a receiver near the ignition switch. You will have to go to a dealer for service.
with the engine and ignition switched off .just press on/off switch on radio
Yes, sometimes a faulty ignition switch can cause the engine to not fire. Also, a bad spark park can the engine to not fire.
