Nonsense!The anti-theft system does nothing of the sort. Keys that won't come out generally indicate the shifter interlock cable is not is the correct position for the key to turn and release. Try moving the shifter from neutral back to park. If this works go get the cable adjusted. The Volvos have an anti-theft system, that includes not letting the key out in the off position if it thinks that it is being stolen. Try moving the steering wheel in a jiggle way with both hands for 15-20 seconds and then taking the key out. Or, make sure that your stickshift push button is *not* stuck in the 'pushed' in, but is fully out; I have to always do this with my Volvo!
