It won't start because it is a 10 year old Chrysler. I mean, really. I have one. You need to just drive it into the country and leave it somewhere.
The most common would be engine cranks but does not start.
Possible causes include a weak battery, battery connections, and a failed starter.
That would be the crankshaft pulley.
the car alarm will allow the car to start and run briefly then "shut down".
check the ecm fuse
Since it is 13 years old, you would junk the car.
Cranks is the motor turning over, But cranks and won't start means either you no fuel or no spark or both.
The bulb is burnt out or has been removed.
if it is getting fuel and spark it could be the map sensor
Yes, they will. The only difference would be in the bumper since they are unique for the Dodge and Chrysler logos.
goto autozone and they can check it for free
On your brake peddle there is a switch it is either bad or stuck, most likely.
The on/off switch is on the same panel as the fan speed switch.
I would recommend taking your pathfinder to your local mechanic.
For some reason it is not getting EITHER fuel OR spark , so it cranks but doesn't start
A flashing check engine light is an indication of a severe engine misfire.
i would start with control mod and from there maybe a crank senser
I would replace the ignetion module that is in the distributor.
Cuz wyotech blows
kanotter valve clogged
Some vehicles have an engine continuence fuse in one of your fuse boxes. look on the back of the lid to see if your car has one it might be blown. change it if there is one and that might solve your problem
Had same problem with same car....rain is getting in rear wheel well by the fuel pump...wires get wet and problems start.
www.user-service-manuals.com/chrysler/index.shtml would be a good place to start. :-)
Yes, but you would ruin it.
