its the blower motor resistor. its located under the dash on the passenger side. i think i got a new one from napa for $20. it was very simple to change. its tight under there, so its not the easiest thing to get out but its a very simple fix!
Check the fuse box. The front and rear blower motors are probably on different fuses.

Start with checking the power right at the blower. Is there?

The air blower and the cruise control are completely powered by separate fuses. It is possible that both have blown fuses.

Your local auto parts store can sell you a small assortment of fuses for that vehicle for under $10.
