This is a common symptom of a blown head gasket. Time to get it tested.
Take Care,
Greg
You may have the thermostat in backwards. The spring side of the thermostat faces into the engine.
The thermostat on a 2004 Chevy Venture is changed by draining the radiator, removing the upper radiator hose, and unbolting the thermostat housing. The old thermostat and gasket can then be removed and replaced.
thermostat is more than likely stuck shut from the overheat. Have to be changed.
Type your answer here... IF WE CHANGED ONLY COOLING FAN THEN IT WILL BE OVERHEAT BECAUSE WE DON'T CHANGE OR FLUSHING OF RADIATOR. WE CAN REMOVE THERMOSTAT VALVE ALSO MAY BE HOSE PIPE WILL BE BEND
have you flushed your radiator or changed the thermostat it could be stuck
it could possibly have either a blown head gasket or intake manifold gaskets leaking
Stuck thermostat, clogged radiator.
There are several things that can cause your cooling system to overheat. The next thing you should check is the thermostat. A blown head gasket can also cause the system to overheat.
You could have a bad thermostat, just because its new doesn't mean its good, TRUST ME ON THAT, or you could possible have an air pocket in the cooling system.
Thermostat messed up, Oil needs to be changed, no antifreeze in the radiator, radiator fan is not working properly
It could be you thermostat Have you have already checked oil level, and/ot changed oil recently Exaust restrictions can cause overheating
I am not familiar with the Audi, but on most cars, the thermostat is at the point where the top hose leaves the engine to go to the radiator. A bad thermostat can make your car overheat. If it has not been changed since 1992 it should have been changed long ago.
