it depends on how much you overtightened them but since theyre pretty small, your probably alright. if its leaking its liable to be your gasket. try using a real thin coat of rtv on each side of the gasket and dont overtighten the bolts.
In order to replace a timing chain for a 2003 Chevy Cavalier, a person will need remove the oil pan, crankshaft pulley and hub, timing cover bolts, and timing cover. Then the timing cover gasket, timing cover and bolts, crankshaft pulley, and oil pan will need to be installed.

Just pull the camshaft gear of it should be just 3 bolts
There should be three bolts on the side of the engine block by the timing belt. Loosen those bolts , and the should gain some slack. You will need a crow bar to retighten the belt.
The easiest way is to look at the Harmonic Balancer. The 305 has a wider thicker balancer than the 350. Pus the timing tab on a 305 is located ON the timing cover and the 350 is bolted on the with the cover bolts. Riky9
It bolts on the front of the engine over the timing cover. It is heald on with four 3/8 bolts and has the lower radiator hose and one of the heater hoses connected to it.
Stripping is often caused by overtightening. Breaking is usually caused when the lug nut is not tight enough and the wheel moves against the stud.
Do you mean the timing chain? You'll need to pull everything in front of the timing chain cover, remove the timing chain, remove the bolts that hold the sprockets and slide the sprockets off the camshaft and the crankshaft.
you can purchase an aftermarket timing tab which bolts to the timing cover.
What are the torque specs for a 1996 Chevy cavalier 2.2l
The camshaft sensor on a 2007 Chevy Aveo is located behind the timing gears. To replace the camshaft sensor you need to remove the top half of the timing belt cover. You will also need to remove the plastic cover that hides the spark plugs. Once these two items have been removed you should be able to see the camshaft sensor. The two bolts that hold the sensor on can be accessed by reaching between the two top timing gears. Be careful not to drop any bolts down into the bottom half of the timing belt or you will have to remove the bottom portion of the timing belt cover to retrieve the bolts. I suggest that you do not remove the pigtail from the sensor until you have successfully removed the two bolts and pulled the sensor clear of the timing belt area. Once you have completed this task just reverse the process. Plug the new sensor into the pigtail then set it back behind the timing gears and line up the bolt holes. With caution place the two bolts back into their perspective holes and tighten them to manufacturer's specifications. Replace the covers and you are done!
i need the head bolt torque on a 04 chevi cavallier engine 2.2 DOHC
