you can try adding "lucas engine oil additive: but pretty much all that is happing is the lifters are little noisy until the oil circulates thru engine and lifters, basically not much you can do about it
Too little oil makes lifters noisy. Without enough oil the lifters can't pressurize enough to close the gaps in the valve train. Driving too long with the condition can make it permanent even after adding more oil.
lifters are normally quiet in operation check oil level if fine check oil pressure if ok could be wear on cam and lifters if so replace
Insufficient oil or problem with pump.
It takes about 6 hours and be sure to soak the new lifters in oil over night.
Not enough oil pressure and / or the oil channel is plugged

Not if there was too much oil. Too thick oil would have to be like 40 weight straight weight or thicker. Not likely you would put that in. Hydraulic lifter noise generally is caused by really thin oil that won't pump up the lifters (least likely), or lifters with partially or completely plugged oil ports, or most likely -- your engine oil is low.
That's not necessary. Either side will drain into the oil pan where the oil pump will circulate it through the lifters, which is how the treatment will actually treat the lifters.
Tapping valves is a noise made by too much clearance between the valve lifter and the valve. Modern engines have hydraulic lifters. If you have too little oil pressure or run the engine low on oil, the lifters will make noise. The lifter can also wear out.
There is no adjustment for hydraulic valve lifters. Lifters can be noisy on some of these models. After ascertaining there is no mechanical damage/broken parts, change engine oil and add 1/2 bottle of STP Oil Treatment (or more if necessary) until lifters are quieter.
It depends, but it could be the lifters. If you have hydrolic lifters, they will lose oil when they are not run and "collapse". It will take some running time for the lifters to refill with oil (not sure how long exactly - ten minutes?). If the sound goes away after a little while, it might have been the lifters.
