make sure that you are turning the right way to loosen nut. a lot of vehicles have left hand thread on wheel bearing nuts on one side of vehicle,and right hand thread on other side

Get a heavy mall (Sledge Hammer with a long handle) and hit the rubber part of the tire with considerable force. The vibration should loosen the wheel off the drum. Be careful swinging the mall If you are trying to remove the wheel bearing/hub assembly, you have to loosen the three bolts from the back of the knuckle and hammer on them to loosen the hub assmebly.
