check you fuel pressure if it is to low the car will try to start but will not.this happend to a friend of mine and it was the fuel pump, replaced it car has been running fine.hope this helps you:)
you should have fuel injection if this is the case either the injectors are bad or the circuit that controls the injectors are faulty
Is there spark at the plus? is there fuel pressure to the injectors?
If the engine cranks & cranks & cranks before it starts even though it's warmed up already.
make sure you have fuel coming to your injectors, could be your fuel pump.
You forgot fuel make sure you have fuel pumping to carb or injectors which ever you have.
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY CONTOUR AND IT ENDED UP BEING THAT THE FUEL INJECTORS WERE LEAKING DOWN INTO MY CYLINDER THEREFOR "FLOODING IT OUT"
I am not a mechanic but it sounds like it is with your fuel injectors. They are either real dirty, clogged, not working at all or your ECU is not sending the injectors a signal to open. Good luck
timing belt broke?
Have the intake air temp. sensor checked .Two wired plug on top of intake manifold. Check fuel pump pressure.
Check the 95 Firebirds crank position sensor first. If the sensor is bad then the injectors won't turn on and there will be no spark.
Coil? HEI ignition system?
no.... check the fuel injectors, and the distributor set (or coil packs)
