If it's the rear a/c fan switch, they have had problems and replaced them under warrantee when under warrantee. I am working on the 4th one in mine now and found that the switch heats up really quick. they were made in India and that's the first time I've seen a GMC part from other than Mexico or Canada. The heat problem in the switch seems to come fron arcing and I think it takes the heat temper out of the small spring behind the triangular contact on back of the little roler/gear plate inside the switch. I'm about to clean the heck out of the contact and replacethe spring, beyond that I will turn the three contact points dowm a bit and it should make better contact and work better. Good luck! If this helps or you need more info, I'm at mcgill1114@aol.com

You should try to upgrade it to Safari 3.1.2.
It neeeds to be checked out as the printed circuit can have problems. The switch that controls your driving lights ie headlights, turn signals etc. could be bad. Check the fuse first. If it keeps blowing the switch could be shorting out to gnd.
It could be one of your wires leading to the break light it touching and shorting on another wire. Or try replacing the fuse somtimes that might help.
yes, just make sure to wrap the pennies so that no copper is showing. This keeps the board from shorting.
Could be a short in the brake light switch or a bad bulb.Try removing all of the tail light/brake light bulbs and step on the brake pedal to see if the fuse still blows. If it does it is a brake light switch problem or a short in the wire harness. If not it's a bad bulb.
If you have just replaced this starter then you probably have it hooked up incorrectly. If it is still the same old starter, then it has shorted out inside and needs to be replaced.
== == Control switch ? Does it have a delay function on the control switch on the wiper control stalk? This may be the way rear wipers are designed to work. I know this is normal in the 2001
its the screw by your paddle
No This is not easy. It is easier to replace the signal light switch assembly

You have a wire shorting somewhere. First place I'd check is where they run from the frame into the door.
