Pull back the clip that retains it & just pull upwards. If you pry, be careful not to scratch paint.
To remove the wiper arm from a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500, first, lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1994 Chevy Cheyenne wiper motor. Remove the traveling arm linkage. Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new wiper motor.
What are you removing? The blades or the arms
There will be a cover on the end where the arm connects to the motor. If you remove that small plastic cover there is a 13mm nut threaded onto a bolt. If you remove that bolt and other hardware that follows you can easily remove the wiper arm.

To remove the wiper arm on 94 Chevy SUV's, first raise the wiper arm so that it is turned to a 90 degree angle from the windshield. The wiper arm should stay there once it is raised. At the base of the wiper arm, note a small piece of metal sticking out. Using a screwdriver, gently pry the piece of metal OUTWARD, from the center of the wiper arm shaft. Once the "keeper" has been removed the wiper arm should lift straight off the shaft.
pry it up off of the motor splines to take it off.
Remove plastic cap. Remove nut. Pry up wiper arm.....
Remove the wiper arm retaining clip. The retaining clip will be just below the wiper arm connection. Hold the retaining clip in and the wiper arm will come off.
A wiper arm on a 2001 Honda Civic is screwed on. To remove it unscrew the mounting hardware and take off the wiper arm.
