The United States Constitution is the framework for the organisation of the United States Government. It specifies the duties of each branch of the American Government, from the President and his Executive branch, to the Supreme Court and the judicial branch. The United States Constitution is written in the name of the American people and is an staple part of American democracy. It was created came in the spirit of the Declaration of Independence. The document is the oldest written Constitution used by any nation in the world. Hence why America is considered to be one of the first, and oldest democratic countries in the world.
