RMS Lusitania was sunk by German U boat
The US did declare war on Germany during the World War 1 because Germany had offered Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico to Mexico.
because many colonist remained loyal to the British
Well the main reason for writing the Declaration of Independence was to do exactly what it says, declare their independence from Great Britain. But there were many other reasons, among them being they were being wrongfully, extravagantly taxed for common goods without proper representation in the British Parliament. And because they had no representation in Parliament, they were powerless. That was one huge reason.
That the reason was because the thirteen colonies wanted their independence from great Britain to become their own nation.
No, if the President is removed, retires or dies the Vice President will become President. If the Vice President can't fill the office for some reason then next in line is the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Checks and balances allow the branches of government to equalize power. Without checks and balances, one branch of government could become too powerful.
Pearl Harbor was the main reason the US joined the war. They declared war on Germany and Japan because Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, and Germany was Japan's ally.
the reason was the Germans did not leave Poland so they had to declare war on Germany otherwise the Germans would attack us and take over us.
Britain declared war on Germany because Germany attacked Belgium in order to strategically invade France. Britain vowed to protect Belgium, so Britain joined World War I.
When did England and France declare war on who? Please clarify.
Britain and France declared war on Germany on September 3, 1939. The reason was because Germany had launched a military invasion of Poland two days earlier, even though Britain and France had told Germany not to do so.
Germany did NOT want to fight the US. The US needed a cause (reason) to declare war on Germany. Germany was NOT going to enrage the US. The ONLY reason Germany declared war on the US on December 11, 1941 was because Germany was hoping that Japan would reciprocate the favor and attack the USSR (Russia). Germany helps Japan; Japan helps Germany...TRIPARTITE PACT.
The specific reason was that German forces invaded Belgium on their way to France. Britain, France and Prussia (the key forerunner of Germany) had guaranteed Belgian neutrality in 1839 (and again in 1875). Moreover, Britain was an ally of France and was not willing to let a substantial part of the coast opposite Britain fall into unfriendly hands.
Britain and France had offered a guarantee to Poland that if she was attacked by Germany they would come to her aid. When Germany subsequently invaded Poland, Britain and France gave Germany an ultimatum, demanding the withdrawal of German troops from Poland. Failure to do so would result in a state of war.
declare our independence from Britain
Hitler and his government did not declare war - their habit was just to invade your country, and let you figure out on your own that you were at war. Germany invaded Russia on June 22, 1941. They did not trouble with the formalities and niceties of a declaration of war. The only nation Hitler declared war on was the United States, and the only reason he did was because he could not get at the US to launch his customary invasion.
You don't mention the options you were given, but the formal reason was that Britain was bound by the Treaty of London of 1839, in which it undertook to 'defend' Belgium if it were ever attacked. The British explicitely mentioned this Treaty in their war declaration against Germany.
Generally no more than 10,000 units of the destination country's currency if you don't want to declare it! For example entering Canada or the US, you must declare$10,000 or more and have a valid reason for carrying that much cash. A letter from an employer for instance. If you do have a valid reason and intend to declare...I don't thing there is a limit.
