I have ugly ceramic tile in a 2 piece bathroom. I don't have the money to hire someone to replace the tile. What are my options to change colour?

You can look into reglazing the tile,or take a class at Home Depot or buy a book,and tile it yourself. They also have dye products to change grout color. Take your time on the layout,There are also bonding products you can use to go tile over the old tile without removing the old tile (super full flex by TEC) make sure the old tile is still bonded before you do this, I tap on it with a point trowel and listen for a hollow sound. People cancel orders at Home Depot or lowes and the will sell those cheaper,you can find great deals when they overstock (cents a square foot) If you go tile over tile rough up the surface. This is a good answer. I install tile professionally in the Opelika, AL area. Only problem is you will probably spend a good amount of money doing these things. You might consider just replacing the tile yourself. Its not extremely hard and a small bath is an excellent way to practice. Here's some other tips for saving money.
